By definition, church is an assembly of believers who meet together for worship, fellowship, prayer, and encouragement. This definition truly embodies Boeuff Presbyterian Church. Having moved to the area just a year ago, I began to look for a new church home. Throughout the building of our new home, we often drove by Boeuff Church and I felt drawn to it. One Sunday after moving into our new home, I decided to try this church that always seemed to pull me to it. We were welcomed by such genuine and friendly people. I knew I didn’t need to try any other church – I’d found what I was looking for. The pastor and congregation welcomed us so warmly, and we felt a part of something special here. There is love – and humor too. It is often said church should be fun, and it is! We sing beloved traditional hymns as part of our worship. The message is inspiring and uplifting. I find myself thinking of the scripture, message, or a line from a hymn throughout the week. The Lord is present in this place.
