Boeuff Presbyterian Church in Gerald was organized on June 12, 1859 by a committee appointed for that purpose by the Presbytery. Seven people had moved to this area and transferred their membership from Bonhomme Presbyterian Church in Chesterfield, Mo. to the newly formed church in Gerald. Those people were Squire and Eliza Fitzgerald, Ann Fitzgerald, Mary Fitzgerald, Edward Fitzgerald and Joshua and Emily Boston.
After the town started to grow the session decide it might be a good idea to move church to town. Some were in favour and some were not so they held service in the Woodman Hall for a while to/see how it would work out. It proved to be a good thing so they decided to move to town. According to, The Gasconade County Republican, the following notice was found in a 1913 edition of The Gasconade County Republican:
Sunday, November 2nd, 1913, is the day set for the dedication of the new Presbyterian Church at Gerald, Missouri. The town of Gerald is now approximately twelve years old with a population of between three and four hundred. The congregation erecting this new church building is known as the Boeuff Presbyterian Church.
Charles Koetting donated the ground on which the church resides. It was built by Henry Bulledick and Pierce Armstrong. It was erected in 1913 and 1914 and was dedicated in July of 1915 by Rev. Allen.
